Industry Service Focus: Financial Statement Audits, Employee Benefit Plan Audits
Mr. Henriquez Baires, a CPA, joined Renner and Company in August 2019 and is currently the Audit and Attestation Director. He provides ample experience and knowledge in the Employee Benefit Plan sphere as he has led multiple 401(k) plan, 403(b) plan and defined benefit plan audits. Moreover, he leads financial statement assurance services for nonprofit and for-profit clients that include media corporations, schools, higher education institutions, trade associations, investment companies and other entities. Mr. Henriquez Baires also leads Single Audits under the Uniform Guidance and Government Auditing Standards.
As part of his directorship role, he leads quality control initiatives at the firm and internal inspection to make sure the firm is complying with the latest statements on quality management standards as issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the national professional organization for Certified Public Accountants in the United States.
Mr. Henriquez Baires holds two bachelor’s degrees from George Mason University’s School of Business, Summa Cum Laude, in accounting and information systems and operations management.
Mr. Henriquez Baires is the lead singer and bassist of a Christian music band. He also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping with his family.
